On Site Soil Screening
On Site Soil Screening

"Our Style" Of Onsite Soil Screening
One machine for the job = More cost efficient and minimal establishment costs
We have invested in a Lloyd star screening bucket for our 5.7 ton excavator, this allows us to screen topsoil with one machine rather than the "conventional" two machines required
- up to 25 ton per hour on average production using our screening bucket
We can load from your topsoil pile, screen the new clean material into one pile and dump reject pile (stones, sticks etc) into another pile without repositioning the digger, we can also process the material in the bucket as long as we feel the need in order to make sure we get the last drop of topsoil resulting in no need to process the reject material again as you would using the "conventional" method.
One machine - Soil screened in bucket then rejects dumped into a seperate pile
"Conventional" Style Of On Site Soil Screening
Two machines for the job = Higher costs and establishment costs
This method requires two machines, a digger, bobcat or loader to feed the screener, and the screener itself.
The overall process is much more intensive as not only do you need to feed the screener, once the screened and reject pile (stones, sticks etc) builds up too much it needs to be shifted into another pile out of the way resulting in double the amount of time to do job.
Not only is this a much more time intensive process, but often the reject pile has to be screened two or three times to get all of the stones, sticks etc out of the good topsoil.
Reject material falls to the back whilst screened material drops through the bottom - Two machines required
We can now provide high volume on site soil screening at 100m3 per hour output. Minimum quantity would be 1000m3.
Approximately $500.00 per hour + GST (terms and conditions apply)
